Grand Finale of Cy-Fi Karandak 2018
Quick Heal Foundation, the CSR arm of Quick Heal Technologies Limited, in association with Theatre Academy and Maharashtra Cyber, recently pulled down the curtains on Cy-Fi Karandak 2018 on a memorable note. The gala event organized at Sakal Lalit Kalaghar was marked with some enthralling performances that kept audiences craving for more.
I Agree by ‘Amche Amhi’ Pune was adjudged the well-deserved winner of the competition, followed by F57 by ‘Natyasanskar’ Pune and Communication Error by ‘Swapnapurti’ Mumbai.
Present as Chief Guest for the grand finale were renowned actors Mr. Riteish Deshmukh and Mr. Jackie Shroff while prominent Marathi actors Vijay Kenkre and Anand Ingle were part of the judging panel.
The winning teams were felicitated at the hands of Dr. Kailash Katkar (MD & CEO – Quick Heal Technologies Ltd.), Mr. Sanjay Katkar (Joint MD & CTO – Quick Heal Technologies Ltd.), Sachin Pandkar, SP, Maharashtra Cyber and Prasad Purandare, President, Theatre Academy.
Also present for this gala event were renowned theatre, film and TV personalities Subodh Bhave, Shrirang Godbole, Jitendra Joshi and Saurabh Gokhale.
Press Conference to unveil the Cy-Fi Karandak 2018 trophy
A press conference was organized in Pune Commissioner’s Office on 6th December,2018 to unveil the trophy of Cy-Fi Karandak 2018. MD and CEO of Quick Heal Technologies Ltd. Dr.Kailash Katkar along with superintendent of Police Mr.Sachin Pandkar (Maharashtra Cyber ) and Mr.Prasad Purandare of Theatre Academy ,discussed about the event and the need of Cyber Security .The one-act play competition aims to educate people about digital threats, cyber safety through the medium of entertainment.
Motivation Session for Hutatma Rajguru School Girls
Capt. Tanuja Kabre conducted a session with Hutatma Rajguru School girls on discipline and teamwork. She narrated her experiences of a military career. She emphasized on leadership qualities, decision making, team building, and teamwork. Capt. Tanuja motivated the girls not to fear failure and to be courageous in every walk of life.
The dignitaries present included Mr.Ajay Shirke (CSR Head-Quick Heal Foundation), Mrs. Smita Apte (Pankh Director), Mr. Shankar Shete (School Principal), Mrs. Maithili Bandi (Coordinator – Pankh), Mr. Kaustubh Joglekar (Counselor – Pankh), Mrs.Sharda Shete (Sr. Educator- Ht Rajguru School) and others.

Volunteer Felicitation Ceremony of Earn and Learn program at KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon
Volunteer Felicitation Ceremony for Earn & Learn activity conducted on 23 October 2018 at KBC North Maharashtra University Jalgaon in the presence of Dr.P.P.Patil(Vice Chancellor,KBC NMU Jalgaon) and Mr.Ajay Shirke(CSR Head,Quick Heal Foundation).
During this activity 38 student volunteers have sensitized more than 51000 students from 100 schools and colleges on cyber security awareness.
Quick Heal Foundation paid remuneration of Rs.3,03,600/-
Cleanliness Drive at Khadakwasla by Flying Youngsters group
Group of Flying Youngsters of Yashwant Vidyalay, to take-up cleanliness drive in Khadakwasla,Pune. The students collected a lot of plastic waste.
The cleanliness drive was followed by a program where students performed Lezim and counselors of Pankh performed a street play.
The program was graced by the presence of renowned actor and director Mr.Sagar Talashikar , PI Mr.Ashok Shelake and API Ms.Smita Patil.
Cleanliness Drive in Pandavnagar area by Flying Youngsters group
The flying youngster’s group of Hutatma Rajguru Vidyalay organized clean-up drive to raise awareness about health and hygiene. The students took the initiative to clean the area in the vastis, where they live.
Along with the clean-up drive, Flying Youngsters also performed a ‘powada’. The counselors of Pankh performed a street play, to raise awareness about cleanliness and bifurcation of waste into wet waste and dry waste.
The cleanliness activity was carried out with much zeal and enthusiasm by the students.
The Mayor of the city, Mrs. Mukta Tilak, graced the event by her presence. During her speech, she imparted the information to students and all others present on how to keep the environment clean.

Cleanliness Drive in Yelwadi area by Flying Youngsters group
The flying youngsters group of Sant Tukaram Vidyalay and Sant Jijabai Kanya Shala showed that,’ a small step from the end of every Indian citizen can be a big step for the dream of Clean India Revolution’.
The students participated in a cleanliness drive, wherein they stepped out of the school premises as waste warriors with their brooms and gloves. They not only cleaned the area but also collected the non-biodegradable waste littered on the road. The local working bodies also participated in the drive.
The cleanliness drive was graced by eminent personalities like Ms. Namrata Patil (DCP,Pune Zone 2), Mr.Rahul Solapurkar (Renowned Actor), Dr. Kailash Katkar(MD and CEO, Quick Heal Technologies Ltd.), Mrs. Anupama Katkar (VP HR, Quick Heal Technologies Ltd.).

Folk dance (Badgi Nrutya) of Katkari tribe in Kasba Ganpati Immersion Procession Pune
India is a rich country of cultural and folk art. The traditional dance is a sacred expression of faith. The tribal dances are with minimal steps or movements. These dances are full of vibrancy, enthusiasm, and energy.
The Ganpati procession of Kasba Ganpati Mandal was on Sunday, 23rd September 2018. The katkari people of Paud area performed their folk dance, known as Badgi Nrutya, in the immersion procession of Kasba Ganpati Mandal, Pune. The group included 27 performers: dancers, singers, and people with musical instruments like Dholki and Tasha.
‘Police Thet Bhet’ in Dehu for Sant Tukaram Vidyalay and Sant Jijabai Kanya Vidyalay
‘Police Thet Bhet’ program organized at Sant Tukaram Vidyalay and Sant Jijabai Kanya Vidyalay. The program was intended to discuss and communicate to the students about the POCSO Act and consequences of teasing. The Police officers narrated real cases about Love and Friendship, teasing etc.
Under the project Shalangan, students were identified for their discipline, organizational skills, leadership qualities and formed a group called “Flying Youngsters”.
They will undertake social activities beneficial to the community they live in, to set an example of being good citizen of the nation. The students were given batches of ‘Shalangan – Flying Youngsters’ by the dignitaries.
Pankh counselors Kshitija Shirke and Sachin Karanjule organized this program.
