Celebrating Cyber Safe Guru Pournima: Students Empower Community with Digital Awareness
On Guru Pournima, Quick Heal Cyber Warriors led a special initiative—Cyber Safe Guru Pournima—to raise cyber safety awareness among diverse community members. Students honored teachers, parents, senior citizens, sweepers, and laborers as “Cyber Safe Gurus,” highlighting their role in fostering digital responsibility. The event featured interactive sessions and hands-on demonstrations covering essential cyber tips, secure phone settings like app permissions and two-factor authentication, and alerts on online scams and password safety. This initiative aimed to bridge the digital literacy gap and empower often-overlooked groups, while fostering mutual respect across generations and professions. By blending the traditional spirit of Guru Pournima with modern digital safety, the campaign created a meaningful and inclusive awareness experience.
Cyber Wari: Blending Tradition and Technology for Cyber Awareness
Under the Cyber Wari initiative, Quick Heal Cyber Warriors from 11 colleges across Maharashtra led impactful cyber awareness programs that creatively blended digital safety with cultural traditions to reach a broad audience.A highlight was the Cyber Dindi event, attended by over 4,000 Warkaries, featuring street plays, Cyber Kirtans, and distribution of Cyber Geeta booklets to educate people on online threats, digital hygiene, and cyber laws in a culturally meaningful way. Additionally, the Cyber Bhajan Sandhya brought together more than 1,200 Warkaries performing Kirtans and Bharuds, turning devotional gatherings into platforms for cybersecurity awareness. The campaign concluded with a grand oath-taking ceremony and slogan launch, where over 1,500 Warkaries pledged to promote responsible digital citizenship and safe internet practices. In total, these innovative initiatives engaged more than 7,000 Warkaries, successfully merging tradition with technology to spread cyber safety across Maharashtra.
Empowering Students: 36 Colleges Begin Cyber Warrior Training Through Quick Heal’s Cyber Shiksha
Quick Heal Foundation’s flagship initiative, “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha,” is making significant strides in building grassroots cybersecurity resilience. Across two states, students from 36 colleges are actively participating in localized training programs aimed at developing a new generation of Cyber Warriors.
Through the creation of Cyber Warrior Clubs within educational institutions, the program focuses on imparting practical, hands-on cybersecurity skills. These clubs are now preparing to implement district-level awareness campaigns, designed to educate communities on cyber threats and prevention strategies. To encourage impactful community outreach, the initiative also includes performance-based stipends for students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to cybersecurity education and fraud prevention.
Quick Heal Foundation Cyber Symposium Training – “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha 25-26”
Quick Heal Foundation has launched “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha” to boost cybersecurity awareness among students and communities. Led by Mrs. Anupama Katkar, the initiative is setting up Cyber Warrior Clubs in educational institutions to equip youth with hands-on cybersecurity skills and prevent cyber fraud.
Students from universities across 2 states are actively involved, designing impactful district-level awareness campaigns. To encourage community outreach, the program offers stipends for outstanding efforts in cybersecurity education.
Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha: A Milestone Achievement with 36 MoUs Signed Across Maharashtra and Karnataka
The foundation has emerged as a key driver in promoting cybersecurity education across India, with a strong emphasis on academic outreach. In response to the growing exposure of students—particularly adolescents—to cyber threats, the foundation is intensifying its engagement by forging strategic partnerships with educational institutions. This initiative specifically empowers tech-savvy students, especially those pursuing computer science from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, to act as cybersecurity ambassadors. In a major milestone, over 33 colleges and 3 universities across Maharashtra and Karnataka have formalized their participation by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with QHF under the “Earn and Learn” program—strengthening grassroots cyber awareness and capacity building.
